The Executive Chairman of Eleme LGA, Chief Hon. Obarilomate Ollor has stated that going forward, his administration will consolidate on its achievement and roll out well-structured programmes that will benefit the children of the LGA.
Chief Ollor who disclosed this during this year’s Children’s Day celebrated at Ogale Primary School field, Eleme said Children are the hope for a better and prosperous future and should be properly planned for and taken care of. Hear him;
“Children are very special, they deserved to be loved and cherished and going forward, our programmes will benefit our children, and we will consolidate on our achievements to ensure a better future for our children.
“I am glad that our LGA is very peaceful due to our efforts in securing lives and properties, we have also stabilized our polity and we will consolidate on that”.
Chief Ollor also praised and bid farewell to Nyesom Wike’s administration assuring Governor Nyesom Wike of the people’s continuous loyalty and support. In his words; “we will miss him but he will continue to be our leader”.
In his parting words, the Eleme Council Boss prayed for God’s protection for the Children of the LGA so they will live up to all that is expected of them.
This year’s Children’s Day celebration in Eleme LGA witnessed March pass among other activities and after a keenly contested march pass between the schools, State Primary School I Akpajo, State School Alode and State School II Agbonchia finished first, second and third respectively in the primary category.
In the Junior (UBE) Secondary category, CJSS Ebubu, CJSS Eteo and Govt. Girls Secondary School Alode finished first, second and third respectively while Ranjennys School Ogale, GSS Onne and Community Secondary School Akpajo finished first, second and third respectively.
